Scott Rogers, M.S., J.D., is Director of Programs and Training and of the Mindfulness in Law Program at the University of Miami School of Law. Since 2008, Professor Rogers has been teaching a series of Jurisight® mindfulness classes for Miami Law students. He co-developed and teaches the core curriculum class, "Mindful Ethics," the seminar, "Mindfulness in Law" and the short course, "Mindful Leadership." Professor Rogers’ mindfulness programs have also been adapted and taught to lawyers, judges, law students, mediators, medical students and residents, educators, parents, negotiators, and therapists.

Maria Paula is a Certified Compassion Cultivation Teacher by the Center for Compassion and Altruism and Research and Education (CCARE) at Stanford’s School of Medicine. She has trained over 700 people in Colombia, Chile, Mexico, and Spain. She is currently a Mindfulness and Compassion Trainer in the Laboratory of Dr. Amishi Jha.

She received her Bachelor degree in Psychology at Los Andes University with a minor in Business Administration. She studied Corporate Social Responsibility at Sergio Arboleda University and Integrative Therapies at the School of Medicine at El Rosario University. In Colombia she had a private practice for five years where she integrated psychotherapy with a contemplative approach. She also worked as a consultant offering contemplative practices to develop leadership skills and increase well-being in public, private, and social organizations from a secular and scientific point of view.

Gus Castellanos, M.D. is a retired Neurologist, University of Miami Miler School of Medical 1980. He practiced Neurology and Sleep Medicine in Palm Beach County from 1987-2006. He has been a practitioner of mindfulness since 1999 and a teacher of Mindfulness Based Programs since 2009. He is trained by the University of Massachusetts Medical School Center for Mindfulness and by the Jha Lab at the University of Miami. He currently teaches at a variety of facilities and venues throughout South Florida. He serves as adviser to the University of Massachusetts Medical School Center for Mindfulness' outreach MBSR program at Jupiter Medical Center. He writes a bimonthly South Florida Mindfulness newsletter with over 1000 subscribers and founded a local mindfulness teacher sangha in 2011 that continues to meet every month.
